The UGA will play 35 events in the 2012 season marking its 12th year. The UGA's membership is the largest it has ever been!
The 2012 season will be the second year to have a prize purse. Based on last season's event entries the prize purse reach $6,103.35 for the season. 100% of the prize purse was paid out. In each event the overall event winner will receive 10% of the total purse. The other 90% will be divided equally among the five flights and distributed to the top three finisher in each flight. The flight purse will be distributed as follows. The winner of a flight will receive 50%, second place will receive 30% and third place will receive 20% of the flight’s purse. All ties share equally of the total of the tie positions. The total amount of the purse will be determined by the size of the total field. The purse will be distributed in the form of gift certificates that are redeemable at DL Tee’s in Hickory, NC. .
You are invited out for a test drive of the UGA Tour. Just call and sign up for an event for just the cost of the entry fee. The deadline to enter is 5PM on the Wednesday before the event you would like to play in. We look forward to playing with you this season!
